Heidi Ursic
Heidi has been a practicing Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) since 2012. She trained at Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy, which is widely regarded as one of the best schools in North America. Over the years she has adapted many techniques to effectively treat a variety of injuries. Some treatment techniques she uses include traditional Swedish Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Cupping, Instrument Assisted soft tissue mobilization (IATSM). IATSM uses specially designed instruments to provide a mobilizing effect to scar tissue and myofascial adhesions. Most of Heidi’s career has been in a clinical setting, working closely with Chiropractors and Physiotherapists. Experience includes varsity athletes at Durham College/UOIT, High-Risk pregnant mothers at Sunnybrook Hospital, and patients involved in motor vehicle accidents.
